Enquiry

One of our existing power station customers was having difficulties finding a 3” socket weld valve in specific stainless steel materials for their application. There was a specific list of materials required and typically the size of globe valves requested (3” 800 class socket weld) are only available with flanges when sockets were required. Typically valves are only available with a socket weld connection up to 2”.

Solution

Castle Pumps have a close relationship with a quality valve manufacturer who regularly supply customised valve requirements for customers. We were able to have 10 x completely bespoke 3" Class 800, socket weld globe valves manufactured in under 4 weeks, which complied with every specific technical requirement of the enquiry from materials, operating pressures & temperature to documentation.

The valves were supplied complete with pressure and material test certification according to API 598, certificate of origin and packed in sturdy wooden cases compliant to ISPM15.
