Cargo pumps are used to to load large volumes of fuel oil on cargo shipping vessels at the departure port and unload at the arrival destination. The cargo oil pumps installed to complete this transfer of are usually screw pumps or gear pumps thanks to their ability to handle lubricating fluids.
