Paper Pulp Pumps

Pulp Pumps & Starch Slurry Pumps for the Paper Industry

Pulp is a lignocellulosic fibrous material prepared by chemically or mechanically separating cellulose fibres from wood, crops, recycled paper or rags. During the manufacturing of paper, card, tissue and board, paper pulp pumps are required to transfer the abrasive pulp slurries, as well as the waste water containing fibrous substances left over from the water suspension process in the paper machine. Pumps for handling pulp slurries and fibrous waste water need to be able to handle the clogging nature of the solid content. For that reason, we tend to specify peristaltic and progressive cavity pumps to the industry.
