Savino Barbera was established in 1947 as a manufacturer of metal constructed pumps for water and aggressive fluids. However in 1963, they began producing pumps out of thermoplastic materials. Savino Barbera now specialise in plastic constructed centrifugal pumps for the transfer of corrosive fluids that need to be protected against contamination.
Due to their compatibility with corrosive and aggressive fluids, Savino Barbera pumps are commonly used in applications where chemicals are being used for example petrochemical plants, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, fertilising and production lines.
