The Savino Barbera OMA close coupled centrifugal pump is a horizontal pump designed for high flow transfer of corrosive and aggressive liquids, thanks to being available in a range of materials. The OMA series of horizontal centrifugal pumps can be supplied mounted on a baseplate or trolley mounted, and is available with either single or double mechanical seal with flushing should the process require. This design of centrifugal pump has been especially constructed to eliminate any possibility of contact between metal parts. Popular applications include chemical transfer, recirculation of chemicals to prevent separation, truck unloading, sea water cooling, surface treatment, press filters, picking plants, galvanising and scrubber systems.

Features of the OMA Single Stage Centrifugal Pump:

• Close coupled centrifugal pump construction
• Available with either single, double mechanical seal or flushed seal designed by Savino Barbera
• Solid handling between 4mm and 7mm
• Double mechanical seal can eliminate any issues caused by vaporising liquids, crystallisation, occasional dry running, preventing potential leakages and loss of pump performance.
• Mechanical seal used is individually balanced with cartridge installation to allow cooling of sliding parts.
• Outlet connection available as flanged, with hose connector or female BSP
• Available with inlet filter to eliminate solids
• Pump can be supplied base plate mounted or trolley mounted.
• Pump shaft directly keyed to motor ensures zero chance of coupling slippage
