Deck Wash Pumps Page 3

Vessel and boat wash down pumps

With wave splash, rain water, spillages and general day to day usage of the vessel, the deck naturally becomes dirty and slippy and therefore requires cleaning down. Installed on vessels are marine wash down pumps that transfer either seawater or fresh water from a holding tank, and are usually connected to a hose or pipe for dispensing the water onto the deck. Our range of deck wash pumps covers a variety of performance requirements, ensuring we have a solution regardless of whether you are washing down a large cargo vessel or a leisure yacht. As deck washing is usually an adhoc requirement, smaller centrifugal pumps are often preferred due to their cost effectiveness. Depending upon whether it is a fresh or salt water wash down pump, we would specify the pump in cast iron or bronze respectively.
