The Azcue VTK Multistage Centrifugal Pump, the vertical version of the TK, can achieve significantly higher pressures than single stage equivalents thanks to its multiple impellers. Designed for the transfer of water and other clean, low viscosity fluids, this model of Azcue pump is ideal for water pressure boosting, circulation and transferring across long distances.
Thanks to its spacer coupling, maintenance of this multistage pump is a lot simpler as it does not require the motor to be removed first.. It is also more durable for heavy duty, continuous operation as it has two bearings to share the strain. Supplied with wear rings which are designed to be periodically replaced, the more expensive to maintain casing and impellers are protected against wear.
A further benefit of the VTK vertical centrifugal pump is that its suction and discharge connections can be rotated in 90° stages at manufacture to suit existing pipework. This combined with its space saving, vertical orientation makes it ideal for retrofitting.

Due to their tight impeller clearance, multistage pumps are unable to handle solids and abrasive content unless they are oversized, which is why they are generally used with water and other clean, low viscosity fluids. This combined with their high pressure range, makes the Azcue VTK multistage centrifugal pumps popular in applications including:
