We were approached by a company that create natural environments for children and families to try hands on experimental learning and make creative use of the resources around them that stimulates learning and play. They asked us to provide hand pumps for their outdoor play areas that are child friendly but also robust.
Solution
The A2029 single diaphragm hand pumps are used in the marine industry so we knew from the start they would be robust and capable of working in all conditions therefore perfect for an outdoor installation. After discussing feedback from the initial order the customer requested that we pin the handle to the pump as the children were detaching the handle and proceeding to use it for other means than its intended purpose. The customer was so happy with our personalised solution they have recently placed the order for their 50th hand pump.
