Sewage is typically free flowing liquid waste but the presence of clogging solids such as tissue and wipes are what makes it challenging for some pump types. Castle Pumps’ range of sewage pumps are carefully selected to be able to handle the potentially abrasive and viscous nature of toilet waste without the clogging of impellers and valves, expensive wear and downtime. Included in our offering are pumps capable of passing such content whole, or those with cutter impellers designed to macerate the solids as they pass through making it easier to handle them later on in the process.
