Adhesive & Resin Pumps
Adhesive Pumps for Transferring & Dosing Viscous Liquid Resins
Resin is a highly viscous substance used in the manufacturer of adhesive, silicon, glue, varnish and paint. Due to its thick and sticky nature, resin loses pressure as it passes through pipework meaning that resin transfer pumps usually need high pressure capabilities. Resin and adhesive pumps also need to be able to efficiently handle fluctuations in the temperature of the pumped liquid as their viscosity can be affected. For that reason, gear pumps, vane pumps, AODDs and peristaltic pumps are often selected for the transfer and dosing of liquid resin.
